The following series of blog posts celebrates the upcoming release of my novel, Discovery of an Eagle, arriving on May 1st. This book is the second installment in the Greco Family Trilogy and is told from the point of view of 28-year-old Cosmo Greco.
After being unexpectedly laid off from his job, Cosmo accepts an offer from his sister, Silvia, to join her on a road trip from their hometown in New Jersey to Portland, Oregon. What begins as a practical decision soon becomes a journey of self-discovery, family reckoning, and emotional transformation.
Each post in this series will explore one of the locations featured in Discovery of an Eagle, focusing on places that are either vividly described or explicitly mentioned in the novel. These locations include the story’s starting point—University City in Philadelphia—as well as the final destination, Portland, Oregon, along with several meaningful stops along the way.
Through this place-by-place exploration, readers will gain deeper insight into the settings that shape Cosmo’s journey and the landscapes that influence the emotional arc of the story. I hope you’ll enjoy traveling along with us.
This post is from my blog series on the places visited in the road trip story, “Discovery of an Eagle.”
