It took me awhile to cultivate my own voice, as Iām sure it takes all writers a long time. Ā It was not until I began writing on a daily basis that I began to hear my own voice. Ā I found that the more I wrote, the more my voice developed, and the more it was readily accessible to me. Ā I also found that writing on a frequent basis, even if for short time periods, was more helpful for cultivating my voice than writing less frequently for long stretches of time. Ā This is why itās so important to write every day, even if only a few words.
This post is from my blog series, āTips for Writing Fiction.ā Be sure to check out myĀ Greco Family Trilogy books, which includeĀ Olive Branches Donāt Grow on Trees, Discovery of an Eagle, and The Bird that Sang in Color.
