It took me awhile to cultivate my own voice, as Iā€™m sure it takes all writers a long time. Ā It was not until I began writing on a daily basis that I began to hear my own voice. Ā I found that the more I wrote, the more my voice developed, and the more it was readily accessible to me. Ā I also found that writing on a frequent basis, even if for short time periods, was more helpful for cultivating my voice than writing less frequently for long stretches of time. Ā This is why itā€™s so important to write every day, even if only a few words.
